SketchUp is a very fast way for bringing concepts into 3D. For this model I started with my previous speed painting, using it for both tracing and texturing in SketchUp. The model could be pushed even more and I guess I'll do it as soon as I've enough free time. I didn't even render it with Kerkythea, I just saved some screenshot from SketchUp and brought them into Gimp for some fast post-pro.
It's still quite low poly and the texture is simply projected, but I don't have time to go on with it right now.
